It was a vacation of a lifetime for my husband and myself.
I had never before visited a Sandals resort…
This wasn’t because I have something against Sandals, but because I had heard rumors of cheesy ambiance.
So, for years, I went other places…
But one year I decided to take the plunge and go somewhere different and fun!
Once I set foot on the Sandals Regency Latoc Resort, I instantly realized that these early impressions were completely wrong.
From the friends we made while there, to the food, and great beaches, we were completely blown away.
Before Sandals Regency Latoc, we weren’t dancers… we are now! We learned from our lifelong friends that we never would have met had we skipped this trip!
On location there is a restaurant called Latoc. There they serve amazing and elegant French Cuisine. I will never forget the food there… Probably one of the best steaks I have ever had, the filet D Boeuf au Poivre Vert was to die for! Following the dinner, the dessert could not be topped at any other resort I have visited!
I hesitated bringing up a second dinner spot to avoid sounding like a paid advertiser for Sandals, but Kimonos was so fun! Probably one of my favorite nights at Latoc! When you first walk in, you remove your shoes and you are led into an area where you eat dinner right on the ocean. The ambiance of this place is amazing, and you have a view of the pier the entire meal. I never really believed in the idea of “Zen,” but that all changed during our dinner.
During a rainy day, you could do what we did and visit the Red Lane Spa! OMG guys, I have never been so relaxed in my life! I was in a bad mood to begin with because… it was raining… But that couples massage changed my mood and made me realize that the rain was a silver lining because I could enjoy a little down time!
We spent our days laying in the sun, listening to the beautiful sound of the waves hitting the sand… What better way to spend the winter?
